Own son of Little Lenas Legend

gator.jpg

His barn name is “Gator”, cutting & reining blood.
1998 APHA registered Overo stallion, although his pedigree is pure quarter horse, before the rule changes he couldn’t be registered with them.
He has thrown a couple nice roan/overo foals & does put roaning on quite a few of his offspring as well. He seems to pass on the "Coons Tail" that his Famous Grandsire was known for.

He has your typical cutter look, smaller horse not over 14.2 hands, big hip & lots of muscle. Gator was in a Accident May of 2005, in which a neighbors Guard Dog took his eye. He was permanently retired to the breeding pen.

His pedigree is unbelievable, he is son of a NCHA money earner Little Lenas Legend($3,012 in earnings & has AQHA points) his offspring have earned over $600,000 in NCHA, NRCHA, NRHA, Team Penning & Barrel Racing.

Smart Little Lena($577,652,LTE) NCHA triple crown winner, NCHA World Champion, #1 all time leading sire of NCHA money earners.

Doc O’Lena($21, 991,LTE) AQHA Hall of Fame.

Doc Bar, AQHA Hall of Fame.

Peppy San($49,478, LTE) AQHA Hall of Fame, NCHA Hall of Fame.

Peppy San Badger(NCHA$172,710) NCHA Hall of Fame, AQHA Hall of Fame.

King Fritz, AQHA Champion, NRCHA Hall of Fame.

Skipa Star, World Champion Halter Horse.

Skipper W, AQHA Hall of Fame. King, AQHA Hall of Fame.

Leo(AAA+, SI-100), AQHA Hall of Fame.

Lighting Bar(AAA SI-95) AQHA Hall of Fame.

Gator has sired some fancy colts, to which a few will be embarking on there own show careers here soon. Fancy bays, chestnuts, sorrels & a couple well marked paints. Gator to date has passed on a roaning type pattern called "Rabicano" to over half the foals he has produced & also the "Coons Tail".

While the markings vary between each foal, some showing Extreme cases & other less noticeable. It is a very interesting marking/color/coat pattern not seen all the time, we believe Gator carries the RB gene (will soon be tested).

Gators foals have all been easy to work with & all seem to have natural ability from birth. If you are looking for your next performance prospect or just a nice cross onto a ranch working mare than this guy could be just that for you.

While he doesn’t sire Huge(tall) horses, they all are stocky, built like tanks & are able to support a full sized rider no matter what discipline you ride.
